REFLECTION ACTIVITY

Journaling in class is a helpful practice to prepare students for discussion. Participants spent 15 minutes reflecting on these journaling prompts: What gifts do you bring to the classroom? What do you desire for your classroom? What makes you most uncomfortable about disrupting the status quo when it comes to teaching and learning? Why do you think that is? How might you cultivate compassion, community, and creativity with your students?
